Jagshi belongs to a large family and runs a tailoring shop in Balasar village, Kutch. He began by taking a loan from Samerth Trust for the first time two years ago and purchased a sewing machine. He then started stitching clothes from his home. Today he has repaid the first loan and has taken a second loan to expand his tailoring business.

He has rented a shop in Balasar village, which is a big village with a large population on the busy Rapar-Dholavira route. He has expanded his business by selling specific fabric material that the local Rabari women wear. He is currently earning Rs. 9000- Rs. 10,000 a month from this venture. His business has now become  self-sustainable, he is now also thinking of expanding his work to other villages in the coming months.
